The sun sets later and the days last longer, which means we have wayy more time to enjoy the nice weather while indulging in some summer fun. But (not to kill the vibe) how do you balance the growing bill with all the summer attractions and entertainment you desire?
Well, I have news for you… There’s plenty of exciting events happening in NYC this summer that’ll allow you to save your cash AND have a blast. We got live performances, all the food you could imagine, fresh merch & apparel, arts & crafts, dancing the night away, and MORE! Everything is F R E E admissions. Ya, you heard right! 1. Window Shop Til’ You Drop
I know what you’re thinking, but hold up! Uptown Night Market has dope apparel all lined up on the streets of Harlem from local small businesses like @fortheculturenyllc, @poppinsnyc, @black.n.ugly, this is the best window shopping extravaganza to ever exist. Although you can definitely not spend a dime and just show up to support the local entrepreneurs in the community, most small businesses are fairly priced and won’t even make a dent in your bank account! I’m telling you, it’s just as fun window shopping down a long aisle of amazing vendors as it is buying what meets the eye. Either way, fun is promised!!
Uptown Night Market is touching down on Thursday, July 14th for its next summer event! Everyone’s meeting up Under the Arches from 4 p.m to 10 p.m for a night of shopping, dancing, eating under the gorgeous arches of Harlem. RSVP to secure your spot!!
2. Channel your inner artist and get B A Z A A R
If you haven’t heard already, our brand NEW event series is making its return to NYC!! If you’re feeling creative, artistic, and you’re down to visit the baddest bazaar/flea market/art exhibit, Harlem Bazaar is for you. We got all kinds of art pieces, sculptures, woodwork, knick knacks, jewelry, self-care products, clothing by local designers– all in one innovative space! @ariancejewelry is coming through with the gorgeous homemade eco-friendly jewelry while @harlemsheavenhats has incredibly chic hats that will make any outfit pop. There’s no event like this in the city and not only is it completely free to walk around & enjoy the local businesses, but there’s something for everyone!

3. Light Up Your Monday with Delectable Eats & Drinks
THIS SUMMER– Friday is the new Monday every last Monday of the month. Brooklyn Night Market is keeping the party going into Monday night to start everyone’s week off right! We got eclectic food and drinks from 40+ local vendors that your foodie cravings would love to take a bite from. I know you want some artisan, mexican-styled sausages from @perroslocosnyc with a side of some perfectly sweet gourmet mini donuts from @cuzinsduzin. From savory to sweet, any food in your foodie dreams will be available at the market across the bridge that’s extending your weekend plans!

4. Dance and Sing the Night Away
You got moves?? Well turn your groove on because Bronx Night Market is bringing the heat with live performances from @djriddim and @mindbuilderscac. As the afternoon sun shines down, you’ll be serenaded by the stunning sounds of the borough. When the sun sets, don’t leave just yet! The best sunsets happen at Fordham Plaza. Free concerts with performers as talented as these are rare, but we got you covered. Boogie on down to the Bronx for the real good jams!
